Utilizing a modern landscape of desaturated and crumbling rural locales\, Dyson and Nyman fill every impossibly dark crevice of their film with dread\, ratcheting up the tension like the tightening of restraints on a mental asylum bed. And when the final twist and turn comes\, it will leave you blue in the face.

With incredible turns from indie veterans Buscemi and Sevigny\, and a brilliant and heartrending performance from Boardwalk Empire’s Charlie Plummer\, the film is an enduring character study and a reminder that everyone and everything deserves love.

She battles the very same forces that she has spent a lifetime fighting just to become the woman she is now – a complex\, strong\, forthright and fantastic woman.
