But\, why? \nWHY DINOSAURS follows dino-obsessed youth James Pinto and his filmmaker father Tony on a journey around the globe\, interviewing world-renowned paleontologists about the latest dinosaur research\, digging up 150-million-year-old bones\, and encountering dinosaur fanatics of all walks of life. Together they track down the filmmakers behind Jurassic Park and Jurassic World\, see the world’s largest dinosaur toy collection\, and attempt to discover why everybody loves dinosaurs! \nAbout the Filmmakers: \nJimmy Waldron: Jimmy Waldron is an accomplished educator and paleontologist with over a decade of experience teaching and developing innovative STEM programs for diverse audiences. As the founder of Dinosaurs Will Always Be Awesome (DWABA\, Inc.)—Central Florida’s only NAICS-accredited Mobile Natural History Dinosaur Museum—Jimmy combines his expertise in paleontology with a passion for accessible\, hands-on education. \nJimmy’s teaching career began in Orange County Public Schools\, where he developed curriculum-aligned programs fostering student engagement with natural history and science. He later served as an Educational Instructor at the Orlando Science Center\, designing and delivering standards-based educational content for K-12 students through interactive workshops\, camps\, and museum programming. \nElaine Howard: Elaine Howard is certified in fossil lab and fieldwork by the Wyoming Dinosaur Center\, has participated in numerous dinosaur digs\, and made friends from all over the world. For the past five years\, Elaine has served an executive producer of the award-winning documentary\, WHY DINOSAURS? by father and son team\, Tony and James Pinto. Elaine is also a certified coach and motivational speaker on a mission to encourage others to maximize their potential and keep moving forward with passion and purpose.
