SUMMARY:If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd
DESCRIPTION:Featuring rare interviews and never-before-seen archival footage\, If I Leave Here Tomorrow takes viewers on a trip through the history\, myth and legend of the greatest American rock band ever! Rising from the swamps of the Deep South these good ol’ boys from Jacksonville\, FL came to define an era with their hard rocking boogie-woogie sound\, their drunken and dangerous antics\, and their controversial use of the rebel flag. The film also serves as a portrait of band leader Ronnie Van Zant; Simple Man\, Country Boy\, Whiskey Rock-a-Roller\, a poet and prophet for the common man whose life was cut tragically short\, but whose legacy endures to this day. \nThe film is primarily narrated by Gary Rossington\, the last of the Street Survivors\, founding member along with Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins\, who remains the only original member still in the band today. His recollections\, from the beginning to the very end\, mingle with the tales of drummer Artimus Pyle and “Sweet Home” co-writer Ed King\, interviews with the late drummer Bob Burns and “Honkette” JoJo Billingsley\, producer Al Kooper\, and recently discovered interviews with the late founding members Allen “Freebird” Collins and Leon “Mad Hatter” Wilkeson. And Lead Redneck\, singer & lyricist Ronnie Van Zant\, captured in radio interviews\, comes vividly to life through his own words and the stories and memories of the people who made music with him.

SUMMARY:Scream for Me Sarajevo
DESCRIPTION:Sarajevo in 1994 was a city under siege. Mortars and grenades rained down on the city\, killing indiscriminately every day. Amongst the madness\, would it be possible to persuade a global rock star to come and play a show for local fans? \nScream for Me Sarajevo is the amazing and astonishing story of the most unlikely of rock concerts\, performed by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson in 1994\, in the midst of the Siege of Sarajevo. This is a film about extraordinary people defying the horrors of war\, and the musicians who risked their lives to play a show for them. \nFeaturing footage from the historic gig\, the film also meets those that made it to the show and made the show happen; determined to keep living their lives despite the atrocities going on around them. Interviews with the band\, crew and security bring home the reality of the situation that was not only dangerous\, it was barbaric. \n“We weren’t protected\, there was no plan and the bullets were real\, but fuck it\, we went anyway” said Bruce in his recent best-selling autobiography What Does This Button Do\, “The gig was immense\, intense and probably the biggest show in the world at that moment for the audience and for us. That the world didn’t really know didn’t matter. It changed the way I viewed life\, death and other human beings”. \nAs well as the striking documentary\, there will be a Q&A with Bruce Dickinson from London that will be shown after the film. \nTotal runtime: 2 hours 5 minutes\nFeature by itself is: 1 hour and 36 minutes\nBonus content (Bruce Dickinson Q&A) is: 28 minutes and 55 seconds
