Have you ever wondered how you would survive a vampire attack if the night never ended?
Directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, Hannibal) and based on the IDW graphic novel of the same name by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith, 30 Days of Night is set in the remote town of Barrow, Alaska where the sun sets for an entire month each year. The small group of residents who remain to keep the town running are unaware that a nightmare is descending upon them. A brutal, bloodthirsty pack of vampires led by the eerily intelligent Marlow (Danny Huston, Succession) arrives, drawn to a perfect feeding ground where sunlight won’t return for weeks. Caught in the middle is Sheriff Eben Oleson (Josh Hartnett, The Faculty), who, along with his estranged wife Stella (Melissa George, Turistas) and a dwindling number of townspeople, must survive in silence and shadows, scavenging for safe hiding places while facing extreme cold, isolation, and overwhelming terror. With no hope of rescue, no daylight, and no way to fight creatures that hunt with inhuman speed and savagery, their only option is endurance—and sacrifice.
