Practical Magic:

A spellbinding blend of romance, drama, and supernatural charm. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are the Owens sisters—two women born into a family of witches burdened by a generations-old curse: any man they fall in love with is doomed to die. Raised by their eccentric aunts (Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest) in a whimsical New England town, Sally and Gillian grow up trying to escape their magical legacy—only to find that fate, love, and sisterhood are far more powerful than any spell.

Directed by Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London) and based on the novel by Alice Hoffman, Practical Magic weaves together themes of empowerment, grief, resilience, and the unbreakable bonds of family. With its blend of heartfelt emotion and unforgettable performances, the film has continued to enchant audiences for decades.

1998, 104 minutes, USA, Directed by Griffin Dunne, Rated PG-13
