    The Long Kiss Goodnight:

What happens when the director of Die Hard 2 and the writer of Lethal Weapon get together to make a spy thriller? You get a cult favorite that delivers edge of your seat action with a sharp sense of humor, dazzling stunts, and one badass heroine.

Geena Davis (A League of their Own) stars as Samantha Caine, a small-town schoolteacher and loving mom with a case of amnesia—until a near-death experience jolts loose memories of her former life as a deadly government assassin. With the help of a wisecracking private eye (Samuel L. Jackson), Samantha dives headfirst into a whirlwind of espionage, explosions, and festive mayhem.

Directed by action maestro Renny Harlin and penned by Christmas-obsessed screenwriter Shane Black (5 of his films are set during the holiday season) The Long Kiss Goodnight will be bringing it’s explosive brand of holiday cheer to the Enzian lawn. Buckle up!

1996, 121 minutes, USA, Directed by Renny Harlin, Rated R

    • “One of the most blithely, giddily ridiculous movies to come along in ages.”

      – Barbara Shulgasser, SAN FRANCISCO EXAMINER
    • “The Long Kiss Goodnight was ahead of its time and remains one of the best action films of the 90s.”

      – Almar Haflidason, BBC.COM
    • “Shane Black's penchant for Christmas isn't merely window-dressing. He understands the holiday's sometimes wearying grenade-shrapnel shell-shock - and how claustrophobically cloistering with loved ones often can only expand the blast radius.”

      – Nick Rogers, MIDWEST FILM JOURNAL
    • “This is Renny Harlin's Get Out of Movie Jail Free Card for the rest of his life.”

      – Matt Singer, MATT-SINGER.COM
